LoM/A2A Fans: which episode does Gene get snogged?

Or am I just imagining things? (and I don’t mean the Alex kiss!)

In Life on Mars, the only time I can think of is 2x07, where he kisses that old lady. I’m not as familiar with Ashes to Ashes, though.

In Ashes To Ashes Series 3 Episode 2. At the end of the show when Philip’s actual wife kisses him at the pub. And maybe in Series 2 but I can’t remember the episode. There was that prozzie-girl in one ep at the station, but I’m not sure if my memory serves me right.. :)

Why is your scripts always related to bad relationships between Father and child!?

I’ve noticed this years before today but I’ve had to write this here now because I just noticed another same kind of script.

So, I just watched that old Doctor Who episode from 2006 called Fear Her. Yes, the famous Olympic episode. Anyway there is that child which had drawed pictures including his really bad dad who is threathening that girl. *ding*

Then of course everyone knows what happened between Sam Tyler and his father in Life On Mars. *ding*

In Ashes To Ashes there was Alex Drake’s baddie father *ding*, and Alex and her husband were divorced so Molly lived without her father *ding*. And then there was Raymondo whose father was very strick and that’s why Ray did what he did. *ding*

(I can’t remember do they say something about Gene’s or other characters fathers?)

Then there is that new Doctor who season 6 episodes The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People where is many references to Ashes (for example Red Balloon, The Weather Vane, Screwdrivers, similar kind of lightning on sets than in Alex’s dreams.. + Marshall Lancaster) AND bad relationship between father and his child. *dingdingding*

Hmm.. yes. I haven’t watch many other Graham’s scripted series (going to watch Eternal Law soon), but maybe there’s even more of these.

Feel free to comment and share somehow. :)
